DMAC 25 18 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 yes its disappointing that the wings lost but you have to congradulate the penguins, they gave detroit a good series. i just remembered after the game that detroit did lose in the '95 cup finals and ever since that they had won every finals they were in. so hopefully it will be the same as that but just a little encouragement to everyone thats upset about the loss, wings will still be dominent and maybe get revenge on the penguins next year haha Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Either way..... There are a few things to look at here: 1. Ericcson is going to be a stud. 2. Helm and Abdelkader are going to be very good for the Wings. 3. This team WILL re-focus on the basics and fundamentals for next year. 4. Osgood is capable of winning the Stanley Cup. This allows the Wings time to grow a goalie. 5. No more Marian Hossa.
