weGotTheCup89 41 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 I'm sorry if this is an obvious/already answered question, but if it sounds like Lilja isn't going to be ready to play for us in the fall, what happens with his contract and cap hit? NGKEIB 32 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 Not sure about the cap situation, but I think that if he's on LTIR he won't count against the cap. I see Chelios leaving, and Ericsson coming up full time. I want to see Lebda for us next season, I thought that he really played well in the post-season. Keep Kindl in the minors and have someone point out why plus-minus is a significant statistic. Not wild about Meech. Granted, he is versatile, but if we need an extra winger I'd rather call up Abdelkader (who will still be in GR) or someone else. I don't see Meech fitting in to our defense corps... Lidström-Rafalski Stuart-Kronwall Ericsson-Lebda (Lilja injured, but will hopefully return to the roster. He had a great year.)
