Guest REDWINGSFTW Report post Posted August 24, 2009 I was at the windsor airport because my cousins were going back to vancouver, when a black mini limo pulled by, and dan cleary with 3 really nice hockey sticks came out, with an asian guy pulling his bags. At first i did not know who it was, thinking it might be just some guy that plays hockey. Well than i went close to him and immediately knew it was dan, but my cousins had no clue who it was an just got an autograph, then my uncle is like ''i dont even know who u r?'' Im like why the hell would you say that, i told him its dan cleary. Clearys just like '' Well im going to the canadian orientation camp'' then he left. I also recognized it was him because his detroit redwings hockey bag. It was cool to see dan cleary up close it was very shocking cuz i never been that up close to one of my favourtie hockey players

TheDetroitRedWings 286 Report post Posted August 24, 2009 Sweetness. You should post the pics! The last Red Wing I met was Datsyuk back in '04. But I had to wait in line for over 2 hours. Definitely worth it though.

Guest E_S_A_D Report post Posted August 24, 2009 It's always cool meeting hockey players. I just met Jeff Carter in London, Ontario and chatted with him for a while at a bar and Justin Abdelkader a couple weeks ago in East Lansing. Just normal dudes for the most part.
