Two notable things from this info (as originally posted by Bruce McC):

-->Tatar is still with the team (he's the only jr eligible guy still there)

-->Tatar announced that he will not return to Europe and will play either in the OHL or AHL.

I have extremely high hopes for Tatar. This kid is money!!

Good to see he will be staying in North America.

Likewise. Very excited to see him with the big club someday.

Not Mitchell Callahan! Oh well, he is only 18. But, damn, am I excited about this kid.

I hate to say it and I REALLY (and I mean REALLY) hope I'm wrong, but I don't think he'll ever even see time in the Winged wheel and probably won't move up in the organization, unless he can develop SOLID scoring numbers or pick up his foot speed to become a genuine PK option

I love this kid's upside and once again... I really hope I'm wrong...

Now let me get this straight! If the team cuts a player, does that mean that the player is going to GR or Toledo? OR does that mean the player is a FA?

I am pretty certain that try-out players are gone!

Try out players are FA - anyone under contract gets "leased" out to another league but is still property of the Red Wings, cut just means that they won't be staying with the big club if they are under contract... so pretty much everyone but the try-out invitees
