Status of Ericsson's injury...

FSN Detroit showed a chart that showed when the injured players were expected to return, but, Ericsson was listed as indefinite. I think this is bad news because he's already a week into a "2-4 week" injury. Am i just being too pessimistic or is there a legitimate cause for concern?

He has a deep bone bruise, which I think is similar to what was nagging at Pavel during the playoffs last year. There is no set time for how long it takes these things to heal. I don't think it would take much longer than a month at most.

The good news is that defense seems to be where we're deepest at the moment, with Janik and Kindl at least playing moderately well in lieu of Ericsson.

Kronwall and the forwards (Z, Franzen, Fil, Cleary) are really who we're missing more.
