Dominator2005 558 Report post Posted December 24, 2009 http://hendrickshockey.com/index.php?optio...s&Itemid=86 http://www.toutsurlehockey.com/rumeurs-de-...dcfd03604a81396 According to Brochu Is Hockey, there is a rumored deal between the Vancouver Canucks and Philadelphia Flyers floating around out there. The Flyers would send Jeff Carter and defenseman Ryan Parent to Vancouver in exchange for Ryan Kesler and Kevin Bieska. Brochu says it would make a very intersting trade as the Flyers have been interested in Kesler for some time now and Carter would give the Canucks some offensive punch. Hendricks Says : Not a bad deal and the salaries would work. Beiska makes $3.75 million and Kesler Makes $1.75 million. Carter makes $5 million and Parent makes a mere $885,000. The Flyers would actually trim some payroll but not much. Kelser is a RFA at the end of this season and is set for a raise. Also, the Canucks would have to take on Carter's $5 million for next year as well. This isn't completely absurd, it has potential but I dont know if the Canucks are going to part with Kelser, a hot commodity and one of their top d-man in Kevin Bieska for Carter who makes $5 million and has been struggling for some time.
