Earlier in this thread Aussie talked about possibly instituting the drop 3 rule. I think that would be fair all around ?

I would say the contest suffered this week not only from the holidays but from not being sticky.

Everyone's bottom 3 weeks are dropped and the remaining weeks determine your final score.

Currently, Aussie shows/posts everyone's total cumulative scores.

I put this together real quick,hope I didn't make any mistakes. My specialty in figuring out percentages is just keeping track of total picks cast rather then correct ones,I always scavenge those numbers off of aussie.

I got a question about the drop 3 rule. Are we just going to drop the 3 worse from contests 1-13 or will you continue to drop the lowest scores throughout the rest of the season ? If you did the latter,that could get a little time consuming for you...always having to go back through everyone's score to make sure you excluded the lowest 3.

I'll drop everyone's 3 lowest for the rest of the season, yeah it takes a little time but it's probably the only way it can be done. I've added up the standings. I might as well post them here and then again when I get up the Week 14 thread.

I was also thinking maybe just drop weeks that people have actually participated, therefore if your 4 lowest scores were 5, 6, 7 and 0 the 0 would still count. But then we'd still have the same issue of people falling so far behind if they miss weeks. I guess at the end of the day using this system the best pickers are still rewarded, just those who are super consistent might have been penalised. Worth noting that your position might look worse than it is because some who no longer regularly enter their picks have had three zero's dropped.

I like the "moneyball" idea too, but considering most people pick the Wings to win maybe it should be some other game. Or would we get to pick our own "lead pipe lock"? I suggest maybe we do double for NBC games (not that those mean much to our northern brethren).
