beepbeep 3 Report post Posted January 14, 2010 Lebeech does indeed suck balls. And he's still only 5 feet tall, 120lbs. Just tall enough to reach the balls
Donaldjr2448 43 Report post Posted January 14, 2010 I am excited to see the Big Rig, but sorry to here that Janik is gone! However, I will stand up for Lebda, he has been playing better over the last month and we certainly can use his speed on the back end. Meech on the other hand, I think has been our weakest link. Now that the Big E is back we now have 4 Power Play Defensemen, so hopefully that will change this evening and get us into the #8 spot for once!!!
beepbeep 3 Report post Posted January 14, 2010 No, the CBA still allows conditioning stints. A year ago, Chris Chelios came to GR for a few games before returning to the Wings when he had fractured his foot. This season, Grand Rapids first saw Michael Nylander on a two week conditioning assignment (he has now returned on a regular AHL assignment). In both Chelios' and Nylander's case, it was announced as being player-requested as opposed to being "sent". Thanks for the info. So could you call Babcock and let him know cuz I think he might be in the dark on that one...

z3tt3rb3rg 4 Report post Posted January 14, 2010 Lebda might have a fortunate slip and fall tonight so Janik can be recalled. If only it could happen. I normally would feel bad about liking this but, nope; not this time.
GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted January 14, 2010 And with more roster updates...Brad May's in, Leino's a healthy scratch. Funny how they rotate this every game. I think Babcock is close to telling Leino to go f*** himself permanently. He's clearly pissed at his effort and performance, especially since Carolina isn't really a tough team physically for May to be playing.
