GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted January 27, 2010 It'd be better for us if it was one of their top players, but I guess this will do. Now if only Calgary had someone..........

GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted January 27, 2010 /sarcasm ? Not really. Why should we have more injuries than everyone else? I'd like to see Calgary lose 250 man games to injury to even things up. Let's see how they handle it. Same with Dallas.
NGKEIB 32 Report post Posted January 27, 2010 Oh, so you don't mean it in the sense of 'If only Calgary had a top-flight player so that they could get injured'. I thought that you were getting confused about Edmonton.

What about the past couple seasons where the Wings have simply defied all odds and stayed almost completely healthy during the Regular Season? Should they have had as many injuries as EDM did last year to "even things up?" Obviously this helps the Wings' situation which is good for Detroit and its fans, but I'm not about to wish that on anyone. If it happens, I'll say "tough break" but be optimistic that it helps Detroit's chances, nothing more.
