Guest Shoreline Report post Posted March 19, 2010 It was actually a smart play by Cooke because Thornton laying into him, then the following penalty, really took out of the air the notion of retribution and really it seems that's all the Bruins could have shown up to play for. Beyond that they looked like they couldn't give a flying f*** about this game. The sad part is this is a team with a fairly slim margin holding an 8th seed, and if they keep playing this way they could either miss the playoffs of make for a boring and lopsided early exit in the first round, likely against the Caps.
