Guest mindfly Report post Posted April 10, 2010 Yeah kovalev is such a huge part of that team Reaction to this: "Oh well..." He wants to go back to montreal anyways
hooon 1,089 Report post Posted April 10, 2010 Yeah I never really thought of Kovalev as big part of that team's "future".
FireCaptain 563 Report post Posted April 10, 2010 I don't even know why I'm baited into replying to you, but here goes.. He's got 49 points, that places him in 4th on their roster. (5th in goals and 4th in assists) Based on your logic: no one is a huge part of the Wings' roster since they clearly aren't putting up Ovie/Crosby numbers. Yeah kovalev is such a huge part of that team Reaction to this: "Oh well..." He wants to go back to montreal anyways Playoff future as in the next couple months (possibly), not future as in years. Yeah I never really thought of Kovalev as big part of that team's "future".
Zetts 236 Report post Posted April 10, 2010 It's a significant loss, but I think this is one they can make up for by committee without too many problems. He'd been pretty cold and has issues competing. This might even end up being beneficial, you never know.

Zohan Franzen 18 Report post Posted April 10, 2010 To put it succinctly, he sucks. Yes thanks for reminding me, but I guess he´d be still more dangerous than some other AHL guy !
MacK_Attack 108 Report post Posted April 10, 2010 If anything, this improves their chances. Kovalev is a stiff.

GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted April 10, 2010 I guess it is a big loss, but I forgot that this team was in the playoffs. Unlike the West, I can't envision those 5-8 teams in the East making any big waves. Ottawa wasn't going anywhere anyways.
