AIK'91 22 Report post Posted April 11, 2010 (edited) Being a Western team in the Eastern time zone, this team should be used to travel. Now, I'm not denying that travel takes a toll, but it shouldn't be an overwhelming factor. I mean, after we make the initial to trip to PHX/VAN/SJ, the other team will have the exact same travel schedule we do. It's just later rounds where you're concerned that the Wings might be fatigued from previous travel and face a team that had it easy travel-wise. So, unless you're afraid of them being far away from home in 5-star hotels, I think they should be fine. It doesn't directly impact us, but if San Jose loses, Chicago clinches the west and thus giving them nothing to play for tomorrow against us.
