DaWingsin071 4 Report post Posted June 7, 2010 On Hockeybuzz our favorite boy Eklund say's that Pitt, Detroit, Nj and Islanders are high on him. Well this is what it says. On Anton Volchenkov... The Caps are playing hard to get here..they are saying they are out of this, but I am not convinced...The Penguins are extremely interested in Volchenkov as are the Red Wings and Devils. The Islanders may actually be the team who puts the most money on the table for Anton. Much more coming tonight... I know it wont happen but if we don't bring back Bert and use the money to get Anton especially since this will most likely be Lidstrom's last year. Would be amazing if we picked him. If the Cap does go up by 2 mill this is the Max we could give him only like a 1.3mill raise and i dont know about those forwards.
