Red Wings Penalty Shots

I was looking for team stats for penalty shots. How many has each team taken this season? Anyone know where I could find out?

Looking around on NHL.com stats, there doesn't seem to be any direct stat associated with penalty shot attempts. However, I did find a stat column in the 'goals for' stats that indicates how many penalty shot goals each team has. I'm going to keep looking for penalty shot attempts.

EDIT: After a little more digging, the only thing I can come up with is to see how many PST (penalty shots taken) by each player and total them for a team total. We have had zero, if that is what you are trying to figure out.

On that note, holy crap, are there really that many majors in the season? I don't recall Detroit having 6 this year.

Interesting to see. PS a little bit higher than last year. last season 27 and this season, after half the games played, 17.

To be honest, that completely went over my head. I was thinking of actual major penalties, not fighting majors so that makes much more since now that you pointed it out.

We actually have 1 and the Devils have 11. Where did you get your numbers from? EDIT: Never mind, I see you looked at the 4-on-5 goals for to get those numbers. No idea why there are variances between those and the link below.
