Unfortunately McGwire is on the air, but I'm just hockey-starved enough to overlook him.

Gonna tune in now. Just to update ya about where I live in Mankato Minnesota. The Mavericks or Minnesota State is having a pretty great year I think ranked 14th in the nation as of now. The Mavs play Wisconsin this weekend in Mankato. The Mavs swept Wisconsin earlier this season in Madison. Should be a good overall weekend for the WCHA. Since the lockout been following more college hockey lately but that seems like it might change for me now.

P.S I think we need a college hockey thread tagged somewhere. Not only for our prospects but in general just saying.

Is it just me or since NBCSports began to televise college hockey has it always been a team(s) from ECAC, Hockey East, or Atlantic Hockey involved? I swear there is never a game involving a team from the Midwest or West.

There was a Notre Dame game on NBCSN a few weeks ago. There probably aren't many midwest games on NBCSN because Big Ten Network has many of those games.
