bIueadams 776 Report post Posted December 11, 2022 For anyone who missed it - Chara said on a podcast that back during the 2011 finals someone told them the Canucks were out on the ice IN BOSTON practicing carrying the cup and skating it around. And this motivated them to win the finals. I believe Bieksa here. It probably never happened, and was manufactured by the Bruins coaching staff to motivate the boys. And dumb giraffe Chara bought it hook line and sinker and is now repeating it years later. Found the story interesting because what a genius move by Claude Julien and/or the Bruins staff.
