JLA/Signs

06 March 2008 - 10:03 AM

Ok so i just purchased tickets to my 2nd wings game.. just so happens to be the 2nd this year also.. and i got bomb ass seats. 1st row in the goal corner. where the wings warm up..

Since i bought them, ive been thinking dem, what a good place to have a sign.. But whats the JLA policy on signs?

Im banking on my sign to say '' I DONT WANT LILJA.. I WANT THE PAIN TRAIN"..

so yah.. any halp is thankful.

Maltby Is The Man

02 March 2008 - 09:26 PM

Despite all you Maltby haters out there.

Im just here to tell you that he is the man.

His agitating skills are phenominal .. Sure he isnt Ott/Burrows/Avery worthy.. But he is still 1 hell of an agitator.

His Plus's
+Solid Agitator
+ Consistant Hitter
+ Great Defensivly
+ Speaks fluid english
+ Has a good shot when able to use it.
+ workhorse

His Negatives
- Offensive Upside
- Age

So with that being said.

Mr.Bochenski On Waivers.

18 February 2008 - 06:05 PM

OK, Bochenski hasn't had much output throughout his nhl career.

Bochenski Waiver Link

Honestly, I see no harm in picking him up, Out of all the players that have been on waivers this year, I'd say this one might be the 1 that the wings look hard and long at

Thoughts?

Update On Ze Wings

11 February 2008 - 07:36 PM

http://thefourthperi.../det080211.html

"The Red Wings may have lost forward Dan Cleary for the rest of the season, which could make GM Ken Holland more aggressive as the trade deadline inches closer.

However, the Detroit Booth News reports Holland is not going to mortgage the future for short-term fixes and told the paper he's not likely to trade a roster player.

"We're prepared to trade certain assets; if they aren't enough (to get a deal) we're not going to do anything (big)," Holland told the Booth News. "If we can make a trade at the deadline, we will, we've always shown that. (But) there's so many teams in the hunt (so there's fewer sellers and more buyers). In saying that, I expect some players to be moved. It all depends on the price."

The Red Wings are believed to be in the market for such players as Toronto's Mats Sundin, Atlanta's Marian Hossa and Los Angeles' Rob Blake."

The Wishlist

05 February 2008 - 07:11 PM

With the TradeDeadline nearing closer and closer.. The forums trade talks and e-gm's start popping up even more rapidly. So why not make a wishlist of players you would like to be nabbed before the deadline.

1. Chris Gratton
2. Aaron Asham
3. Brian Rolston
4. Raitis Ivanans
5. Ethan Moreau
