About Me

I was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia. I came to the States as a young kid aged 11, and fell in love with the Russian Five.. I have been a fan since 1997.

My best experience with the team was in January 2010 when I went to see the Wings vs Kings in Los Angeles. We had a huge injury crisis but Jimmy (establishing himself as the 1st G at the time) stood on his head to record 52 saves! We were outshot 52-17 but Helm scored a gamewinner with 8 seconds left! I will never forget that moment. The whole northern part of the arena looked at us astounded.

I live in Berkeley right outside of San Francisco and really enjoy California but I'm sure to watch the Wings whenever they come on the West coast road trips.

I am passionate about a couple of things: football aka soccer, hockey, Moto GP, and Eastern European literature.

That has to be the best game-day graphic I have ever seen. That is pure art... keep up the great work!!

As for the game, I am really unsure what to expect. Whatever happens I just hope the boys leave it on the ice. There's so many unknowns in our lineup compared to last season as well as the 48-game format that it makes this "season" a bit of a toss-up.

I'm most curious to see how our D-line shapes up considering the great one is gone.

Playing well thus far.. but we can't rest. Howard just made a couple of key saves... we have to kill the game off. Can't let the Ducks back in it with a cheap late goal in the first.

Following this team this season has been something else... from the gut wrenching losses to the last second victories (e.g. Helm vs LA or Zetterberg vs. Nucks) this season has defined for me what it really means to be a fan. I went crazy when I was in Staples, and even two nights ago after Rafalski scored I was screaming at the top of my lungs... so much the neighbor started knocking on my door to check if everything was alright.

Nothing like the Red Wings. This team has gone through so much this season, and I could not have put it better than Ken Daniels did in the Zetterberg winner last night..

I am eager to watch tomorrow's match.. and I am glad to see the site finally back up and running after I tried posting when my comp said I shouldn't visit it. Re-watched the game today on NHL Network. Just as sweet.
