A win tonight will send Phoenix back to Winnipeg the same way that they left. A first round elimination by the Detroit Red Wings...Some things will never change huh.

Don't know if its been said but...
I find it funny that the NHL has a commercial about the tradition of throwing a hat for a hat-trick for versus...but then bans the octopus tradition in Detroit.

All I have to say is that this game defined why I hate the shootout.
I don't think anybody would have been upset with calling that a 4-4 tie. Both teams had their ups and downs for the game. It was fast, fun and entertaining.
Neither team deserved to lose it in a frigging shootout.

Draper is having his best season in 5 years and looks so excited to be out there.
I don't see him up in Detroit for a full year next year, but would love him back on a 2-way as 1st recall for injuries.

Yup. Its the same concept as the Ducks. When a chippy dirty team doesn't receive the retaliation they expect/desire they try to draw even more by getting dirtier, which allows the more talented team to take over.Yet we're racking up the scoring chances and controlling the play.

Please name one, and make it a rookie as well. Won't find many rookie 3rd line defensemen with less turnovers.

Yup. The trend of that being our best line is not a good thing. I'm glad they are playing that well...but they shouldn't be the scoring chance leaders...Once again, the Helm line is the only one that seems to give a damn..
