Pretty solid list, me thinks. Schneids' wrist probably deserves mention even as a bad thing. Homer's injury and return also dramatically changed games.

Apologies if this is misplaced, but it didn't really seem right for the trading post forum. I wanted to show my wife the Maltby hat I didn't buy (thought sure he was gone after this season) last Wednesday, but they don't seem to have a website. I've done some generic searches for Red Wings hats without any luck. Anyone know a site I could hit? The default NHL Store doesn't show the hat in question. Thanks in advance.

Mark it down, we have a plan!

Carolina ought to throw those douchebag cheerleaders out there, piece by piece.
-
Gotta stay awake. Playoffs, doncha know! The long nights start to pile up, though. Bad thing is that the Wings haven't done terribly well in those late-night games... If I'm going to put in the effort to stay awake, the Wings could have the decency to win, eh?

At the risk of derailing the thread, I'd have to put Ray Sheppard and Lucky Luc ahead of Dino on the "worst skaters hall of shame".
-
That's twice now, both times as a Wing was getting ready for a shot. Hope this doesn't continue all night.
-
Thanks, as always. I've saved all of these for years now.

Don't know about that. Malts has forgotten more about agitating than Cleary knows. PK edge goes to Malts. Physical edge goes to Cleary. Offense goes to Cleary. I like both players quite a bit, but I'm not sure they are filling the same role.
-
You've really got to give it to Kipper, even though he lost. For our side, I'm going with Cleary.
-
I'd give Cleary our MVP for round one. Talk about doing it all. Never thought I'd see the day when I'd be praising Lillypad, but the guy has completely turned it around. Perhaps Moen knocked some sense into him. Mule just keeps getting better and better. Last but not least, I think Grandpa Cheli deserves a nod for playing tough and playing smart, probably for more minutes than he oughta.

Anyone listening to the internet radio feed? It appears to be dead for me. Help!

Oh, cmon. How can you not revel in the fun of Peter Foreskin, Joe Sack-itch, Rob Flake, and Patricia Waaaaah? Not to mention Peter Worrell's pimp hat, which was part of every good trade rumor back then. It's the foundation of any good Crapalanche hate.

I'm not ready to turn in my Lillypads Haters membership card, but I'd like to know who has been borrowing his sweater the past couple weeks. The Pain Train, indeed.

We can't seem to win at the Saddledome, ever. Sure, we'd have home ice, but that would mean a 7 game nailbiter, which I'd just assume avoid in round 1. Minnesota looks like the weakest of the bunch. Although it's unlikely, I'd love to see the Stars in round 1. Turco could continue his traditional playoff meltdown and away we go. If we're going to fantasyland, I'd also like to see SJ to meet VAN in the opener. Wipes out one of the 2 scary teams before we see either one.

That happened to my wife. She got the Ozzy jersey and he left. She got the Mac jersey and he left. We've debated getting her a Lillypad jersey for the good of the team.
-
Frei's a tool and a Crapalanche slappy, but this article is pretty good.
-
I've got a white Maltby and my wife has white Ozzy and Mac jerseys. I've also got a red no-name replica jersey for me.

Maybe I'm just drinking the koolaid, but it seems that there's been more tendency to sit guys for "nicks and dings" this time of year ever since Floppa pulled his "take the regular season off and then light up the playoffs" stunt. It comes down to a very low threshold like Tunbo said, but I think Floppa pushed the bar even lower.
-
Much rather have it happen now, when the guys can still get some games in after returning before the playoffs start. Besides, it's a good excuse to get some of the youngsters extra ice time for a couple weeks.
-
And there was much rejoicing, for the unwashed masses were given guidance and beauty to ease their multitudinous burdens. Oh, and now they had a clue when to turn their damn TV on... Thanks!

Beat ya to the punch with a thread this morning. No answer yet.

I know, I know. Not trying to be a dick, just curious if it's got an ETA yet. The work is much appreciated, as always.

There's your key right there. Huds is an insurance policy against Dats. If Pavel puts the screws to us yet again, you toss Hudler in there and hope for the best.

Do you think that Schneider is worth $3.3M-season??? Every single UFA defenseman signed this offseason has been up to $1M+ overpaid. peace Now that's a sweeping statement. And yet, I can't really dispute it... It's interesting how quickly the masses here have turned on Dats. That said, I'm like you, NN. I'd happily send Pavel to DC if we could get one of their young studs in return. We've got a Pavel Jr. waiting in the wings (Hudler brings the same type of skills to the table although talent level remains to be seen, and ummm, pardon the pun), so it just might be a win-win deal for both teams. The Caps get a stick wizard to set up Ovechkin (or whatever his name is) and the Wings get a young horse they desperately need.
