Using his body? to do what? lean over and put his stick in the way of the puck but not his body when was the last time you say him sprawl out and block a shot with his body???? I don't understand how if he didn't mean to get his stick in the way how did the puck make contact with his stick if it was headed anywhere but towards the net?

there is no way that was a pass, it was a shot Hasek should've stopped it? are you kidding me? Lidstrom should've had the courage to either a. lay in front of it and block the shot with his body, which he never does b. get the hell out of the way horrible play from Lidstrom

have you ever played the game? there's no way a shot like that to the knee would cause him serious damage. concerning the "cheap shot", well, first I thought it was a dive by Moen and second Anaheim has been doing that crap all playoffs long, where have you been?

plus he's got a 5 year deal you can't say that about any player in the NHL, the fact that he's been injury prone so often so early in his career means he's even more likely to get injured again and again

I'd like to see an EAST, WEST , and CENTRAL in the NHL. I know it's completely unconventional but it makes sense to me. There are just too many teams that have horrible travel schedules, Detroit has the worst (flying the length of around the world in the PO's) but consider Dallas in the Pacific??? and Minnesota in the Northwest???. There are enough teams in the central US to make it work.

I'd like to know where everybody is from last round when some of us were trying to tell you this was going on to the detriment of the Red Wings and we were laughed at and called whiners. Now you have it from William F. Scott Bowman himself. All the obstruction, hooking, slashing, hitting from behind, and grabbing benefited the Ducks and hurt the more skillfull Red Wings. It went on all series and should've been called.

concerning Giggy, I'd really like to see us move him side to side, he's got terrible lateral movement and we've never exploited that. I could care less if he's made 36 or 38 saves 2 games in a row, I haven't seen him do anything outstanding. The Wings always put alot of rubber on net.

yes they did didn't the Ducks have 4 too-many-men-on-the-ice penalties that were called? didn't the Ducks push Hasek in the net when there was a no-goal call that was later overturned for a Ducks goal have you not really seen the obstruction all series long that isn't called?

I'll tell you what the Red Wings deserve. The RW's deserve to have FOUR too-many-men-on- the- ice penalties actually called they deserve to have obstruction called when they forecheck they deserve to have an obstruction call when they're elbowed in the face on a forecheck in open ice they deserve to have the same infractions called at the beginning of the season called in the PO's they deserve to not face continuous clutch and grab hockey in the 'new' NHL, regardless if it the PO's or not they deserve to not be continously cross checked in front of the net when this was clearly a penalty in the reg. season they deserve to have penalties called when they are elbowed in the head along the boards they deserve to have penalties called when they are repeatedly hit from behind which was called during the reg. season they deserve to not have their goalie elbowed in the head they deserve to play in a Conference Final where the officiating is called per the rulebook when clutch and grab obstruction hockey is a penalty as it was in the Eastern Conference Finals they deserve to not have ticky tacky calls go against them when the opposing team clearly gets away with the same why are there so many inconsistencies in the officiating? And it's not me, many others have noted it. why was the Eastern Conference reffed per the new NHL rules and from game 1 shift one this series hasn't? If you don't believe go back and watch Datsyuks very first shift, he was on the forecheck in open ice and the defenseman noticed him bearing down, turned around and completely obstructed him for 5 secs, NO call, this was setting the tone for the whole series and it's never let up. I don't understand RW fans who don't support calling the game like it was in the reg. season, IT BENEFITS US, WE'RE THE SKILLED TEAM.

they missed a TMM call at the Joe earlier in the series, par for the course I hate to say it but we're tied in this series despite the refs, this has to be the worst called series I've seen bt any two teams ever

what he's doing is alright, goalies do NOT have to take off their helmets if they don't want during the anthem,it's in the rule books. Most of course do but well, Dom's different ... in a good way.
