As a kid growing up in the 70's/80's I have many fond memories of going to the 'recycling center' (aka the city dump, or junk yard) to dispose of grass clippings, leaves, etc with my father, and older brother. We had a old truck with an AM radio, and it was always on this 'oldies' station that would regularily play Herb Alpert... -

Not trying to be a smart a$$, but try telling that to Gerard Gallant, and Dan Bylsma who both had issues with their GM, AND owner. Any owner can do whatever they want...Who's gonna tell them otherwise?

What bothers me most is that as a fan since the 80’s - I recall the stupidity of ‘Dollar Bill’ Wirtz who didn’t show home games on tv along with other dumb crap. Starting his own network makes me think Chris Ilitch is going down that same path.

As much as it pains me to say this...If Chris gets his own network, and I have to pay even more to watch the Wings...Well - it may be time to change my allegiance...

Well said I'm gonna start watching more LA Kings games...Apparently they lack 'speed', but they certainly have talent...I'd like to see why they're off to a bad start.

Right now I feel the Wings are still outta the playoff picture - however they should be much more competitive than what they are.

I try my best to tone down my celebratory dance moves...What I find to be effective is the pelvic thrusts from the comfort of my overpriced seat...Only thing is my kids look at me funny when I'm watching the game at home...Even worse is when the dog starts to hump me... -

Yes - that is what we meant, and they're probably the only 2 worth watching - however I'm waiting to see if lil'Bert can evolve more into a pest, and pi$$ off the opposition on a nightly basis (his play against the Habs is what I enjoy most from him). If I were placing a bet I'd say that Wings fan had been consuming some fermented malt beverages just prior to his actions. -

I think so...They're the only 2 that seem capable of generating anything. -
Back then we'd see players moved to shake up the roster, and dressing room...Now that trades are few, and far between - the blame falls upon the shoulders of the head coach...I do however feel a coaching change might be the best option at this time.

I honestly believe it's been that way since Blash took over from day 1. Some players may never be 'NHL quality' - I feel the same can be said about coaches too. Yeah - it was pretty obvious the crowd was giving the 'Bronx cheer' with the few shots on goal. -
