We need to have our photoshop warriors to create a logo/jersey for this new franchise. I'm thinking the Seattle Social Justice Warriors for a team name, and like the NYR having Rangers diagonal on their jersey - Seattle could have this across their chest... Not funny.

Like many bands - they do not age well over time. Early U2 was great...Their past few albums - meh. Red Hot Chilli Peppers is another example - 80's to early 90's was great, but right on queue - once they got 'mainstream' they took a heaping dump. Many others out there just like the 2 I mentioned above.

To the bold...Simmons meant bands that formed after the late 80's, and/or early 90's. The bands you listed above had already been together, and were beginning to reap the reward$. His point about the Foo Fighters was that they're probably the only band that formed in the mid 90's that can play in front of a packed stadium, and doesn't need an opening act, nor be a part of a tour ie: Lollapalooza, or Coachella in order to survive.

Was listening to Ozzy's Boneyard on Sirius XM radio. Gene Simmons was a guest, and he made an interesting point...Since the late 80's, early 90's - how many bands out there are of the like of U2, The Stones, Beatles, Zepplin, The Who, etc? His answer was the Foo Fighters, but overall - we don't see those bands that can fill a 40 K stadium anymore, and apparently he feels it's due to music sharing, and social media where the music studios aren't making the $$$ like they used to, and they don't spend the $$$ on bands to make them a big success like they have in the past.

Didn't see the game last night, but watched the hi-lights, and other pre-season games...I gotta say - I'm really starting to like Lil'Bert...His play style, skating, and physical presence reminds a lot of this guy (and that's a good thing)...

With that much powder - were the 23 guys implicated gonna split it up, and use it themselves, or try to $ell it? Makes me think of the movie 'Trainspotting' when they acquire a sizable amount of heroine, and end up selling it off to a legit dealer in London. Interesting take. I have both Probert's, and McCarty's books...Probie def enjoyed his powder, but DMac preferred his sweet leaf which truth be told I wouldn't be surprised at all if many players enjoyed doing the same considering it's benefits, and relaxation after a exhausting game in which guys need the time to wind down from.

I know back in the 80's, and into the 90's it was a thing, but didn't realize a problem still exists today.
