Watch this be the draft year where we win the lotto, but there's no consensus #1 pick that stands out amongst his peers. Chances are I'll purchase Center Ice again to get my weekly Detroit Red Wing fix...Hopefully there's no contractual issues. Otherwise I'd suspect NBC Sports will air a handful of games every week...Expect the usual Pens/Caps barrage.

Foote would be a good choice - was drafted and played for the Nordiques. He’s another guy I despised since he was an Av, but admired his style of play.

It could be good, but that’s unlikely. IMHO the only good Winter Classic jersey was the 2014 - the rest were pretty lame by my standards. A white version of this would be sweet, but as we’ve seen over the years - chances are it’ll be a f**king mess that few will purchase.

There have been a few variations of the Winged Wheel over the years - the most current version became the norm in the mid 80s. What concerns me is in the adidas promo it appeared that Detroit would have some grey in their new alternate jersey
