I pretty much ignored anything about Raymond up until several days ago...When learning that he's comparable to that little wiener Mitch Marner in Toronto - I pretty much became a fan of this Scando.

I got nuthin against Stamkos, but if he doesn’t want to be a Red Wing - then so be it. That said he better be prepared to submit a list since it’s been proven that they don’t need him, and his cap hit could be used more effectively.

As you mentioned few teams are capable of absorbing any significant cap hit - be it MAF, Stamkos, or even Nylander (that is if the Leafs are serious in signing UFA Petro - they need to move a big contract). Unique position we are in - hmm - improving team by not only adding players - by adding assets too - hmm...

It is a nightmare...I always help the Rad Techs with getting the digital film plate under the patient for a chest, or abdominal picture...There we are - in a Covid + ICU room - sweating our asses off in the ppe - looking like 1960s era astronauts. What this guy said

Being an RT (Respiratory Therapist), and working with dozens of Covid patients (many on a vent - aka life support) - I'm all in for the idea of letting those who think that this is all a hoax to see what this virus does to people by visiting a ICU.....Sans PPE of course

A healthy Stamkos vs an oft-injured Stamkos would see a significant difference on what Yzerman would have to send to his former team. Right now I can't see Bolts GM Brisebois making huge demands, but as you mentioned multiple draft picks, and probably a young roster player/s might be all that it takes from Detroit...Maybe they could command more from another franchise if they were to take on Stamkos' contract?

For the 'right price' - I wouldn't mind seeing Stamkos finishing his career in Detroit...Meaning I have no idea what Grand Master Y would have to send to Tampa for the guy...Hopefully it wouldn't be anything more than a guy like Mantha, and some 'future consideration'.

As I mentioned earlier - might not be the 'best' move - but why keep Stamkos around? Find a taker for what's left of his contract (4 years at $8.5 aav), and make Hedman the 'C'. May not be a popular decision, but why not try to move Stamkos while he still has some trade value? If King Henrik can be bought out in NYR...
