Watching the skill on display last night between Edmonton, and Calgary it really shows how far down the ladder we are. And to think Draisaitl went 3rd overall in 2014...Gives me some hope that the Wings could still draft a franchise player if we don’t win the lottery.

Why would anyone want to shoot a car for - what did they ever do to you? I'm a tall fella - so carrying a full sized 45 wouldn't be an issue for me...Still got my eye on this.

My eyes tell me the team looks unprepared - they look sloppy...I agree this team lacks talent, and I may be going out on a limb here, but I feel either Gallant/Laviolette could do more with this roster...At least look like an NHL club.

Whenever people say - 'Blash is good with the kids' - I'm thinking good at doing what? Most nights this team can hardly string together 3 tape to tape passes...Granted we lack talent, but IMHO we also lack a quality coaching staff.

I agree with you on how 'soft' society has become in the past decade - however that's the world we live in. Some guys can deal with a coach like Babs (Hank/Dats/Lids/Cleary/Ozzie/etc), and some do not...I could only imagine what life was like in a dressing room back when guys Bowman/Keenan/Crawford were running things.

If the Bolts get knocked outta the playoffs early this spring - I'd be shocked if Cooper wasn't fired. Not that I wouldn't welcome him back, but this season has been sumthin else with coaches getting the axe, and what led up to their dismissal. Babs is no exception - the 'mind games' with Franzen, and Marner should make many GMs concerned about having him on board.
