Received this email this morning...Found the bold quite interesting... 'The Red Wings have the fourth-best odds (9.5%) of landing the No. 1 overall pick and a 28.8% chance of getting a top 3 pick in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft. Tune into NBCSN tonight at 8:00 pm. as this June's draft order is revealed. By most accounts, this year's draft has an abundance of talent up front with a consensus that the top three players on the draft board, including American center Jack Hughes, are in a class by themselves'.

Most of my picks are seeing the Wings drop 1 to 2 spots as well

My 10 results...6th - 5th - 1st - 1st - 5th - 6th - 7th - 5th - 6th - 1st.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is up with 'Big Buff'? Is he anywhere near 'healthy'?

At best - we'll draft 1st overall...At worst - we'll draft 7th overall. And outta curiosity...Anyone know how any of these guys in the top 10 'come off as' regarding their personality? Holland really leans towards maturity, and leadership.

Since Jan 1st of this year the Leafs have been a painfully 'average' team, and I cannot fathom how they'll win a series - let alone 1 game this playoffs.

In response to the bold - I'd say that they're a 'good team'...$5 says Babcock is gone if they're knocked out in 4, or 5 games.

In all honesty I'd be shocked if the Bos/Tor series went more than 5 games.

As much as I'd prefer to win it (so Holland would have options) - sliding down to 2nd would be just fine with me when considering that many scouts/experts/etc consider Kakko close to - if not as good of a prospect to Hughes.

I won't lie...I'll be mad if we drop back a few spots like we had in the previous 2 drafts.

Too bad there's a great chance either Edmonton, or Buffalo will get a solid chance of another top 3 pick...Rewarding incompetence...

Wasn't it for his family back in Michigan the reason why he's leaving TB after this season (I know it's an obvious statement, but I'd be shocked if he took a job elsewhere).

One thing I hope never changes at the NHL level...The intensity/physicality/borderline dirty play is ramped up throughout the playoffs, and the refs tending to let the players play.

Yeah - I was a big fan of the Bucks back when they wore 'short shorts' in the 70's/80's...Then 'MJ' came along, and with that the drop in quality of officiating...It's great to see the Bucks being relevant again, but man how basketball at the NBA level has changed (glorified pick-up game). I can see the Bucks getting knocked out early - NBA officials still remain a mystery as to how bad/inconsistent/favortism/etc...

This. Spring time...Fresh air, sunlight, warm weather...Rejuvenation. Since the early 90's one thing you could count on was Detroit making the playoffs...I still enjoy spring, and hockey playoffs, but it's not the same when the Wings aren't in it.
