We get where you're coming from, and many here like myself agree with you to a certain extent. I just got back home 75 minutes ago from Detroit, and watched with glee the Wings shutting out the Devils at the LCA. I'm enjoying this game at this very moment...I'd suggest you try to do the same considering in a matter of 7 days the season will be over, and we'll have to wait 6 months for another Red Wings season of hockey. Like I said earlier - we've had some crap luck with the current system...Maybe - just maybe we're due for some luck at this years lottery. Keep hope, and LGW !!!

As I recall saying back at the start of the season...Ya gotta ride these highs, and lows with this rebuild. I want this team to compete - I don't want them slacking off, and accepting a loss with 'shrugged shoulders'. Yeah - our beloved Red Wings aren't very good, but at least most pundits will admit that this team competes most nights, and the coaching staff is doing what it can with what it has...In other words we're no where near as pathetic as the Oilers, or the Sabres...And look where all those hi-end picks have gotten them. I'm typically a pessimist in nature, but I'm thinking we're due with a top 2 pick in this year's lottery.

And there's nothing wrong with that. As a self-proclaimed knuckle-dragger - I firmly believe there's still a place for this physicality in the game.

Well - IF Stevie Y returns, and takes up a job within the Wings organization - Blashill will at least be here 1 season (unless he's let go mid-season). To me it's really no big deal...Regardless who we draft this summer we'll still be at, or near the bottom of the standings. It's all part of the 'rebuild' folks

Just got back to the hotel from the game - great win! Even though it's a bit of a tough pill to swallow regarding the lower % of landing a top 2 pick - I enjoy watching our young guys skate hard, and play with some passion. What happened to Bernier? All of a sudden Howard was starting the 3rd? What's even more mind boggling is how Buffalo is becoming the next Edmonton...And Edmonton is still the Edmonton...

Agreed. Was listening to Sirius XM NHL, and I damn near wanted to barf...Afternoon host 'Boomer' feels there's no place for fighting in the game - even if there's 2 willing partners. Now - I'm well past the whole 'enforcer' debate, and staged fighting, but eliminating from the game entirely?

To be honest - I've only met 2 guys that liked Claude Lemieux...Both were Avs fans (no surprise), neither one thought what he did was 'dirty', and both played pick-up hockey. 1 guy was a co-worker of mine, and played in the net...Made sure I bumped him while skating by, and scored a handful of goals on him (all were 5 hole - his glaring weakness)...The other guy was a Milwaukee cop who along with other cops/firefighters liked to play rough/physical (gloves were not dropped, but we certainly pushed things). Yeah - that day in particular is still fresh in my memory...Certainly was a catalyst for our back to back Cup wins.

So - I gotta ask.....How are the seats in the 100 section vs the 200 section? Thought I heard/read that the 200 section at the LCA was both steep, and seats were super cramped while the 100 section was pretty nice. Looking to attend a game later in the month... See above...I'm a good boy

Honestly...Possibly...Kid seems hot/cold with his production...Not breaking bones in his hand while fighting, and staying healthy in general might help.
