I am personally not worried about a (percieved) logjam on d but a lot of folks are saying that somebody needs to leave. So, in that case, you think Määttä is the one to go?

    Walman - Seider
    Ghost - Holl
    Chiarot- Petry

    No more Europhags on D.

Seider 3rd Reich - he doesn't fall into that category.

Best part about this trade is Lindstrom is FINALLY gone. SY has managed to unload all the losers this year. Zadina terminated his own contract. Veleno not re-signed and told to f*** off to Europe. Lindstrom signandtraded. Masterful.

Also want to point out again that we are likely going to see a Chiarot-Petry pairing. They were dope in MTL together and thats what got Chia traded for a 1st and his big contract here. Hopefully they can find that chemistry again.

    It's a beautiful thing...

Houston has a stadium with an owner who is looking to share it with the Rockets, and a population of over 7 million people.

Aeros games used to do really well here, I'm sure if there was an NHL team here they would be well supported.

It's been well noted - Fertitta has no interest in paying fair market value for the Yotes, nor some silly transfer fee associated with it...He wants a 'good' deal...

I definitely don't think he's a bad player. I just don't think he's a superstar either. I'm perfectly happy to talk about him in the same way I'd talk about Toews or Kopitar, but it just feels like he gets more love than that. Maybe I'm overblowing it though.

I don't think you're going outta your way in under-valuing him (I feel your assessment is pretty fair)...I'd say Bergeron is revered for what kind of stand-up guy he is on and off ice...Not a single bad thing has been uttered, or published about him...The adulation tends to magnify his stats and accomplishments on ice, but for once I don't mind him getting the attention.

Since being traded from the Leafs Phil has 3 cups, has become the NHL ironman. All on a diet of hotdogs, gambling, and call of duty.

    Beautiful family too.

Is Phil the most chad player of all time?

    Stay blessed Phil.

    …and he’s from Wisconsin

He stood in front of the net and got hit by the puck three times lol.

His offense is/was overrated and he was a liability managing the puck. Same thing here in Detroit. Blind ******* passes all the live long day.

It's gonna be a rollercoaster of  love/hate for Bert in Toronto...Wouldn't surprise me if he makes a few gaffes in critical  games.

  7. All this data reminds me of the Zadina fanboys on various sites would post as to how analytics/advanced stats showed him in a favorable light.

That said - Yzerman is doing alright - regardless of what the vast majority of opposing fan bases have to say...99% of them are ignorant bastards.

How would everyone feel about signing Kane to play with Larks & Cat?  I feel like it would immediately boost our ability to have 2 good scoring lines and a very good 3rd line.

He's had hip resurfacing procedure - he'll be out until the end of the calendar year.

He's a bit of a ****** - sat out for a few games to make his point on wanting to be traded to NYR - no thank you.

At this stage of his career - what's left of it - DBoss and Ray Ray would be a better line mates.

EDIT - and there's no f-ing way I'd want him to make $5 million per season as a Red Wing :bad:

If that **** wants to come here - he can make league minimum.
