i'm a little worried...no joking this time...

ugh... i'm gonna puke. we don't even deserve to make the playoffs. we should just play for a lotter pick at this point. we're a .500 team and it's finally showing...

isn't that what they thought about the rams until martz and vermeil arrived? sometimes...i think the right coaches and the right framework make all the difference in the world... martz would have been great...he's no nonsense, all business type of guy that doesn't put up with idiots...and he's very good at his job... we messed up. we should have gave him the money he wanted. it's not too late! go back and offer him his bottom-line figure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

martz has had a knack for getting good numbers from QB's...kurt warner, marc bulger, jamie martin, trent green...even ryan fiztpatrick showed flashes of superstardom under martz... aside from warner in his prime, none of those QB's have any real talent. so maybe he can get the same out of one of our QB's...be it Joey, DanO, or whoever... and we really need to get more out of our recievers too...roy williams is a loafing underachiever...and the word underachieve is woefully inadequate to describe charles rogers and mike williams. i really believe we need better play from our offensive line to give either KJ or our QB a chance... this offense is a MESS...martz has his work cut out for him, that's for sure...

it's been a while...but i got curious/bored and clicked on this thread... hmmm...that's not the impression i've gotten... granted, i see the celtics on tv maybe 3 times a year...but when i do see them on tv, of course, i focus on paul pierce. when i've watched him...his ability in his own end is nothing short of comedy. not good...really not good. and from an article i read least year in the boston herald...the say his defensive abilities having been slipping the last four years. why was i reading the boston herald? well...i used to play fantasy basketball until i stopped this year. and one of the sites i go to for updates always has a link to the article that mentioned this or that. pierce was on my team last year...and that's where i read the bit about his defense slipping over the last four years. as for his consistency...i'm going straight from my fantasy team last year and the year before...he's streaky. however...i just looked at his numbers for this season game-by-game...he's been amazingly consistent this year!!!!! i gotta give him that! he's been a monster this year... i'd still rather keep rip unless someone can convince me with footage or articles that pierce's defense is good...

i REALLY don't like the idea of letting any of our staring five go unless it starts to falter. i SORTA warmed to the idea of that KG/Rasheed trader ealier...but i'm not as keen on this Rip/Pierce trade. Why? Pierce is TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE on the defensive end. He couldn't defend ME if his life and the lives of his loved ones depended on it! Awful! I can't even describe how awful he is in his own end. It's laughable!!!! Plus...he's usually a streaky player on the offensive end. I mean, so is Rip sometimes...but I think Rip is slighly more dependable than Pierce (even if a streaking Pierce is far more prolific than Rip). At least I can count on Rip i his own end...he's relentless...

I wonder if we should find a coach first...and then worry about QB? I say that because both Marty Moringwheg and Steve Mariucci did not want Joey as their QB from the get go...they didn't like the type of passer he is. Not a good sign when the coach was never in your corner from the beginning even before getting in the first game. If we get a QB and then get a coach...we might have an unhappy coach cuz he doesn't have the guy he wants running his offense. Lets find a coach and let him have a say in who will be QB...Joey, Schaub, Rivers, someone else, whatever.

funny thing about michigan...they have the amazing ability to play down or play up to any opponents ability...it's agonizing...

i have a bad feeling about this game too...the heat are gonna come at us hard! you know...i'm still sour over that dallas loss...i wanna play dallas again...

one other thing... i know it's been brought up before...but i gotta say, the bench really is a concern. why should the bench be a concern when we're 20-3? it's NOT about playing time...believe or not, the guys are playing the same amount of minutes per-game as last year... here's why the bench scares me: what happens when we get in foul trouble? i'm gonna guess that games against the heat and spurs might become dog fights...and some playoff games are gonna become dog fights. it'd be sad to lose a game cuz our bench couldn't hold the fort down when our top guns pick up some early fouls... if it ever becomes a battle of attrition, i think both miami and san antonio have much better benches...we'll lose battles of attrition to them...

i was so strong until now...but i couldn't resist any longer. i looked... by the by...i got TONS of mucus in the back of my throat that won't dislodge...

a couple concerns... i think we rely on the 3-pointer a wee bit too much. sure, it's fall now. but i hope we can still smash teams when the long ball is not falling. and i wish we rebounded better as a team. ben is the only reliable rebounder...tay and sheed rebound when they want to. overall, we don't rebound too good. seems like we get out rebounded on most nights. as for darko playing 40 minutes? please...the kid would foul out in 20 minutes! seems like he picks up 2 fouls when he plays even 5 minutes off the bench!
