They're at home and the score is 0-0. They still have more to lose and Chicago has less to win. And St. Louis is still the better team. Like I said, they have to man up and stop being the Blues. It needs to start now, though. This game is not over yet. They can't be thinking about game 7. The Sharks can light up Crawford just like they lit up a better goalie in Quick. They're a scary team and beating LA might be the breakthrough they needed to reach the Finals. -

The Blues need to do what the Sharks did yesterday after blowing a 3-0 lead to the Kings in LA. Man up, score some goals and exorcise your hockey demons. I knew it wouldn't be easy even after they went up two goals in this game. -

In all honesty, outside of Rinne or Quick, there are no good goalies the Hawks could face. Quick is gone and they probably won't play Rinne in these playoffs. -

I'm impressed by this win. The Sharks are very good but have always had mental troubles. If they can beat LA, they can beat Chicago or Anaheim too. -
Teams like Washington, St. Louis and San Jose have a lot of demons to overcome in their franchise history. That's tough to do. Teams like Chicago and LA who have championship pedigrees are always tough to put away. Actually, it looks like everyone is tough to put away except for the team Kenny assembled.

Well, he actually has NHL experience. However, his teams have disappointed in the playoffs since he left Colorado. Not sure if he has another run in him.

Do we count as an 8 seed, though? We had fewer points than the Isles and Flyers but they got the Wild card spots. Not sure how the draft allocates picks. -
Let's be realistic. When was the last time this team (or any team) filled that many holes with either free agency or trades? Two top 6 wingers and a top pair defenseman. That's not easy to find. More than likely, we will move up some plugs to fill those spots and bring more guys in from the minors to fill the spots of the plugs.

If the Hawks fall, I don't really care how the rest of the playoffs will go. Yes, there are some teams/cities I want to win more than others and some teams I'll root harder for. However, nobody else's winning would make me question the existence of a God or whether if he did exist, that he had any goodness in him whatsoever. -

Mediocrity is the company standard now. What makes you think the Ilitch family is unhappy with Holland and these playoff performances? I haven't heard a peep out of them the last few years. Not like this is a trend. Early playoff exits are now a pattern. -
