I was hoping Skoula would be playing as it would increase our chances of winning. Kozlov and Fedorov should have been there for Detroit. Either Osgood or Vernon in net. Legace and Conklin had no connections with the rivalry, other than Legace being a backup. -

Avs roster looks much better on paper, though. Too many good Wings players missing out. Maybe we exhausted the best stars two years ago against Toronto. -
