I already posted that I have no other teams, but I do like certain classic teams. Best examples would be the 1977 Canadiens, 1980's Islanders and the 1994 Canucks. I like the history of the game that way, even though I don't root for those teams today.

But does he play a mean game and use his size effectively? Do Quincey and DeKeyser have a mean streak and clear the crease? I don't think they do. It's not just a lack of fighting.

Ericsson is actually a decent fighter, but doesn't do it enough. Him being off the ice for 5 minutes wouldn't hurt the team much. As stated in the previous post, he doesn't likely want to get injured and this organization does not believe in fighting anyway. He's not alone. Quincey, Sheahan and DeKeyser are two other guys that are big teddy bears. We have some big guys, but they're just big windbags more than anything else. You mean in hockey history there hasn't been one guy that made more money and actually played a mean game?

Really? His glove was pushed and that could easily be the GWG the way things are going. That was a good challenge. Besides, the timeout is overrated in hockey. Well worth a challenge. It was a about a split second before the shot took place and a split second goes by quickly in hockey. I'm glad we got the call but I don't agree with it and would be pissed if the same happened to us.

I'm not sure how that wasn't goalie interference. Wings are definitely getting some good breaks tonight.

The fans should boo all over this sh***show just like the Royal Rumble the last few years. They should boo every player that gets introduced during the pre-game festivities. Let the league know what a boring joke they've become.

The entire Montreal franchise is a joke for agreeing to this farce of a trade. They have no intention of calling up Scott and are basically kissing the league's ass.

This is bullcrap. Another reason for me to care less about this boring league. Scott playing was pretty much the only reason I wanted to see the game. It's a gutless league that likes to alienate its own fans. Same league that's had 3 separate lockouts in the last few decades. Bettman and the other suits just don't get it.

He could have scored more with a better winger than Helm. How many teams in the league would have a Helm playing on the 2nd line with their top playmaker as center?

Who was the other winger on that line?

There's not a lot of guys in the league last year that hit 30 goals. Oversized pads and well trained goalies have made each of these goal marks harder to reach.
