    If they wanted to avoid ratings disaster, they should have foiled the Lightning from making the Finals. That game 7 was much closer and easier to fix.

    It was an amazing series with two loaded rosters hockey fans will never see again. The game 7 was amazing for us Wings fans, but it had to suck for the average fan who was expecting a classic.

    Any chance the Ducks would want Howard? Howard is average, and that Swedish creampuff Andersen is below average. If not for him, they'd be in the Finals right now. They don't need a top goalie, just someone decent.

    TB has played 20 games in the playoffs to Chicago's 17. Then again, Chicago had a lot of long OT games. Both teams have to be more worn out than your usual Cup finalists.

    3rd in 6 years, actually. That's what people have said about Hawks goalies during their other Cup runs. Stop it already people. Remember that ridiculous, "CORE thread" that was started here after the 2010 Finals? I'll need to find it someday, because the Hawks are about to win their second Cup since that thread was started.

    If it makes you feel any better, the Ducks won a Cup in 2007, your roster is better than 95% of the rosters in the NHL, and summer is starting and there's plenty of palm trees and girls in short shorts in Orange County. Oh, and Selanne is still a whining punk.

    How so? This game shows you who wants the series more. Also, the Ducks should have done better in those OT games they lost. Chicago hasn't gotten lucky. They're on their way to their 3rd Cup in six years. That isn't luck. How many Cups does Chicago need to win before you change your user name?

    Goalies are a dime a dozen nowadays. And Price is the best in the game at the present moment. I know you need scoring and teammates to win nowadays.The best goalies don't win the Cups. My only point here is his silly, undeserved nickname.

    "The King" still has no Cups. "The squire" is a more fitting nickname for someone with one Finals appearance and no Cups. Elvis was "The King" Gable was "The King" Lundqvist's having that nickname is absurd.
