Unlike these other GM's, Holland has something called immunity. Immunity at one's job makes one not have to take risks. Holland isn't going to overpay someone (unless it's Quincey or Samuelsson). Holland knows Ilitch isn't going to do anything to him. So does everyone else here. -

As I said before, Holland is like a trust fund baby that ends up blowing all the money he was given. He's withered this team down into mediocrity. Unfortunately, our owner is senile and is eating peanuts at Tiger games. -

I fully expect Iginla to sign with the Spurs next season, just so he can chase another championship. He played for one team all those years, and is now going wild. Colorado seems like a strange place, though. Are they really a Cup contender? Good season, yes, but in that tougher conference with Chicago and LA, they're a long way away. -

I get bored a lot in the offseason, so I thought we'd play some hockey trivia this year. I found a pretty cool sports trivia site, which includes NHL trivia. The first one I linked below is to name all the 500 goal scorers in NHL history in less than 10 minutes. I got 39/42 right on this one. Was disappointed in two of the three I missed. That's pretty good. Didn't realize you were that young. I'm guessing I did better on the 90's test than if I had to take a similar one for the 2000's. Anyone get more than 45/50 right on this one?

The NHL should sign R-Dizzle to its marketing department. That fake Ducks jersey looks good I always wonder what those jerseys would have looked like with cooperalls. I will say, the Canucks have changed jerseys/logos/colors probably more than any team in sports history. They're like a John Cena T-Shirt.

Well, it's more of a fun quiz than anything. Good way to learn about the game's history too. I never knew Michel Goulet scored that many goals, despite having his hockey card when I was a kid.
