Anyone know if Domi is playing in the 2nd game? I don't believe he and Kocur have ever fought one another. -
I have to think they'll send one of those enforcers down. I don't see them both playing at the same time often. This isn't 1999, and Boston and Toronto play in the East.

I would trade our 4th line for theirs, especially since Sheahan isn't likely to play barring more injuries.

Amazing how useless these coaches' speeches are. "Keep skating". "Wear their D down". Bla bla bla. Not exactly groundbreaking comments anyone couldn't figure out themselves. I guess whatever X's and O's are involved aren't being shown on this program. They make the coaches sound like simple minded idiots. -

Pretty much. Invariably, there will be one division (this year or some other time) where the 6th or 7th place team is better than the 3rd place team in the other division. In the above example, Philly doesn't belong in the playoffs, but would get in.

Just for scoring against San Hosay with the goalie pulled exonerates him for me. Besides, the Wings ruined his chances of an Art Ross trophy in 2004. -
Some good fights in there, but nothing special. Nowadays, I feel like I need to watch classic youtube fight videos to see a great fight between heavyweight enforcers. Also, I wonder if the Wings even had 10 fights this calendar year.
