I would trade a good young forward for a good defenseman (even if he's 30 years old). You can't win consistently in the NHL with the defense the Wings currently have.

Not if the club plays most of their games on the West Coast. Remember Iginla? Most casual sports fans have never heard of him. Then again, they've never heard of Sundin either. Seriously? They made the Finals in 2015 and had Chicago in trouble before blowing the series. Last year, they took a great Penguins team to 7 games in the Conference Finals. If not for bad luck with injuries, they'd be in the playoffs again this year, as they barely missed out. We must not be talking about the same team.

I like the Lakers ripoff as well as the jerseys the Kings wore in the early 2000's, but these jerseys you posted were clearly the best they've ever had. Toronto vs. Ottawa Chicago vs. St. Louis Calgary vs. Edmonton Anaheim vs. San Jose All rivalries between teams in the same province (state). Yes, Eastern St. Louis is in Illinois, so it sorta counts.

There is no "we" anymore. "We" are the Montreal Canadiens fans now, talking about former glory. I will be rooting against either Pittsburgh or Chicago, but truthfully, Chicago is the only team in the West that can generate good ratings for the Finals. There's many big market teams in the East that could do so, but not in the West.
