The biggest road block is our defense. There's no playoff push with this blue line of AHL players. All the other teams we're chasing have more talent there.

The point is, they've had a lot of playoff success that the Wings haven't even come come close to since 2011. Injuries have hampered their team, but there's no doubt who the better GM is. When Holland started his GM career, he had an unlimited cap and a tremendous roster to start with. The Cups came naturally.

Seriously? Look at some of the trades and acquisitions he's made. Signing Tyler Johnson to an entry level contract in 2011. Drafting Kucherov in the 2nd round in 2011. Drafting Palat in the 7th round in 2011. Drafting Killorn in the 3rd round in 2012. Trading a 4th round pick and Cory Conacher for Ben Bishop. Trading Kyle Quincey and Sebastien Piche for a 1st round pick. Signing Stralman in 2014 to a 5 year $22 million contract. (about the same contract as Ericsson) Signing Brian Boyle for cheap in 2014. Getting rid of a malcontent in St. Louis in 2014 and getting two high draft picks and Ryan Callahan in return. Keeping both Stamkos and Drouin, despite talks they wanted to go elsewhere. How can you ask such a silly question? What's Holland done during this time period to grow the team?

R.I.P. I just hope his children can be serious about this organization and forget about some baseball team. The Wings deserve to have owners who care about the team.

That's for weak minded teams. This team doesn't win because of lack of talent. I suppose being weak minded doesn't help, but let's not lose sight of the main issue. They lack talent. The defense is AHL quality.

We should trade him before he becomes old and useless like Ericsson. Trade him while GMs around the league get mesmerized by his size and youth. He'll never amount to much with his offensive deficiency and his defensive softness. Just a big wuss.
