I'd still take Chara on our team at his advanced age.

Yeah, I hope those guys play that hard and well for the Wings. Especially Tatar. He has not impressed me in the playoffs so far in his career.

Canada has become too boring at this level. Like watching Cena circa 2014. They're just burying everyone else. Funny how they always play the Canada Cup at home too. Like that's not a big advantage. The World Junior Championships are the only interesting international tournament right now. A different team seems to win it every year.

Keep in mind, Canada's best players are in their primes. Most of Europe's best players aren't in their primes. Chara, Hossa, Vanek and Gaborik were all much better players 4 or 5 years ago.

Ovechkin and Malkin are total trash for the Russian team. These guys never show up in the biggest international competitions. Time to replace them with the younger guns. And as I stated earlier, Russia doesn't develop good defensemen. They had Marchenko on the team for Pete's sake.

Russia has a lot of talent at forward, but I would honestly take the Red Wings defense over theirs. It's basically an old Markov and a bunch of average players.

Would be better for hockey. Canada won the last two Olympic Gold medals.

Barkov is the same way. The Finns need to stop stealing some of Russia's best players.

The Panthers have no fans. And Komarov represents team Finland. I think he was born in Estonia and has Russian parents, but he's turned his back on Mother Russia.
