Thinking about it some more, this guy must have lost a lot of races before he finally came to Nyquist. Yzerman, Howe and Sawchuk must have been crappy horses. Zetterberg and Datsyuk didn't pan out. If Nyquist had lost, the next horse would be named either Quincey or Mowers.

There isn't one fanbase that didn't want Tampa to beat the Wings. The Wings are not very popular and nobody is sorry for their demise. And how long should we give him for that to happen? -

It's not just the big moves like the Bishop one (which seemed small at the time). It's also being able to make other similarly smaller moves to acquire role players and other guys who can step up in the playoffs. Comparatively, seemingly everyone we've picked up recently does nothing for us in the postseason. Stamkos and Hedman obviously are the key players and are high picks that preceded Yzerman, but he's made his own mark on the team by bringing in surrounding players. -
Well, Facebook is for dog pictures and the internet is for porn. Can't expect everyone here to know about the backstory of "Nyquist the horse".

Not hard to believe. They stink in the playoffs. Ever since going up 3-0 on the Flyers, the Capitals have continued doing what their franchise has done in its entire playoff history. Find ways to fail. -
Not having Seguin is big. One of the best players in the game. They mismanaged his health in the last series.

Holtby is not a good playoff goalie. I'd say he's somewhere on Howard's level in the postseason. Very average. Washington continues to be Washington in the playoffs. Can't win OT games. Can't score timely goals. Can't get their superstars to step up. I already mentioned the goaltending. -
