Clowe is not a Wing, Bouwmeester's overpaid soft-as-hell ass is not a Wing, we didn't rent out Jagr at a steep price when we're not gonna win anyways. I'm content right now. If the Wings get any top 6 guy, it should not be a rental. The only thing I'd like to see today is trading Flip and White for picks. If that doesn't happen, then I'll sit by eagerly waiting for the 2015 season when we have Ouellet, Sproul, Jarnkrok, Jurco, Frk, Mrazek, Tatar, Nyquist, Callahan and all the other really good prospects we still have that we didn't trade for rentals to get us past the 1st round of the playoffs. I could not be happier as well that we still have a 1st round pick this year. 2-3 years from now we should have a super talented, hopefully 6'5 forward from the 1st round this year. I came into this season expecting to be about where we are right now, but I was hoping that Kenny would trim some fat to make room for Tatar and Nyquist to finish the year with the Wings, and hopefully Dekeyser plays tomorrow or they change their minds and send him to GR so he can actually play, preferably with Sproul.

I think Yandle is the equivalent of Kronwall. A good #2 offensive guy. I thought at the beginning of the year that Kronwall could be a #1 guy, even started a thread on it, but that assumption was wrong. He and Yandle are both good, servicable #2 guys though. Having both though would offset the pressure on Kronwall. White on the other hand. He is terrible. He's the kind of player that doesn't wear elbow pads, he wears water wings.

Hell yeah. Jarnkrok, Sproul, Jurco, Almqvist, Callahan, Tatar.... I wish there was an AHL gamecenter. I would not miss a single GR game. Hopefully Ouellet comes over too once his season is over, whenever that is.

My favourite colour is aggressive salmon. I'm kind of middle of the road where I want to trade guys like Flip, Quincey and White, but I'd also be cool with getting Pominville, Gaborik or Eriksson, but I'd rather see guys like Pulkkinen or Ferraro go along with a couple roster players as opposed to our 1st or 2nd round picks this year.

Sheahan. Only Sheahan. If we could get a 1st for Flip and a 1st for Franzen I'd be quite excited.

That's a huge overpayment. I wouldn't trade either Ouellet or Mrazek, let alone both for 1 guy. Couturier is really good, and would fit in well as a Wing, but I honestly wouldn't trade Ouellet alone for him. Ouellet, Sproul and Backman are the future D on the Wings.

Jurco is in his 1st year in GR, Tatar and Nyquist are going to be full time Wings next year and good ones, Sheahan is in his 1st year, Jarnkrok just crossed the pond and has played a few games, Sproul and Ouellet are finishing their Jr years and will hopefully be up next year on GR and those 2 are about as untouchable as a prospect should get. Mursak cleared waivers, so his trade value is quite low. This years draft is crazy deep. Trade our roster players that are taking the spots of Tatar and Nyquist and get more picks. The guys in the 1st round this year will likely develop at a higher rate and on top of that, there's maybe 2 or 3 guys in the whole 1st round projections under 6'0. Sign me up for drafting players this year and snagging higher quality pieces from teams that need to get back under the 64 mil cap set for next season. there should be a lot of players available, and when GM's have to shed salary, values go down. This summer is a much more viable option for getting the most on trades.

I hope Jagr goes to Boston to make the Bruins PP even more effective against the Pens and I hope Jagr gets the series winning goal against the Pens in the East final.

Not just that, but when teams have to re-sign their guys and shed salary at the same time, the Wings will be one of few teams that have cap space to get other teams good players. Also a big reason why I want the Wings to trade Flip, Quincey and White for picks. Open up roster spots and free up cash to make a decent signing or trade in the offseason.

The same Colo that was on aganist both goals who looked out of position all night, blew some 1 on 1's and double covered an Avs player on the PK and actually pushed him down and layed on top of him and Smith? And people are ripping on Smith.... I'd rather have a D corps next year of: Ericsson-Kronwall Smith-Dekeyser Kindl-Lashoff Almqvist Trade those 3 Dmen and draft some big forwards. Or wait for all their contracts to expire after next year and get nothing for them as usual. Good puck moving Dmen can make the outlet pass and actually have our team keep possession. He can't make that 1st pass to save his life. He blindly throws it up the boards and loses it to the other team constantly. I garuntee he leads the Wings in icings. I would rather have a 7th round pick than White on the Wings.

Rather have Hanzel than Clowe and I'd welcome Pominville. And to make room, trade Flip to get one of them, or to someone for their 1st round pick this year. Either way, I really don't want Clowe.

One of the many reasons I was glad Kenny didn't get him. I'd rather him chase a top 6 forward or 2.
