Tatar has paid his dues, he deserves a roster spot in the top 9. If I were him, I'd ask Kenny for a trade. He'd be a top 6 forward on half the teams in the NHL.

Quincey to Edmonton for their newly acquired Ference, whom i'm guessing was signed to let Schultz do his thing and not be -100 for a full season. Ference is a lot like Stuart and would be the ideal type player to pair with Smith.

what ever happened to tweener contracts? 2 years at 3.5 and then a payday would have been fair for Hall, Eberle and now Nugent-Hopkins. Then Schultz will ask for 5-6 mil and Yakupov will get traded for less than the Oilers want for him cause teams know they won't be able to afford him. He gets traded at the deadline this year for sure, or next season before his ELC expires so a new team can negotiate a new contract with him.

Tatar and Nyquist.....oh wait, they don't get to play again cause Holland ruined a great summer by signing DANNY ******* CLEARY AGAIN!!!! As far as i'm concerned, the whole rookie class can eat s*** cause we won't have any this year cause we have 10 veteran role players on our team. Pretty fair deal for a top 4 Dman. Their biggest setback will be losing their 3rd line shutdown C Bolland. That will put some extra pressure on Toews and their D, so he'll earn that 4.1 mil.
