The way I look at it is what if it were the other way around? That would have been infinitely worse. They stole a win in a game they were dominated. I have no doubt they will look much better in game 2. Babs is too good a coach to not make the right adjustments for the next game. The effort was definitely there, they just need to play smarter. -

Fleury in playoff form already -
This is absolutely true. I thought they were, but many folks were in sky is falling meltdown mode back in July. It wasn't until the season started and they played well when all that went away (for the most part).

Winnipeg is the 2nd wildcard, though Calgary has less points (but is 3rd in their division). Yes, the system is stupid. -
I doubt any team hires a new coach until Babcock is signed to a deal. Any coach looking for work will have to wait on Babs .

My vote is Mrazek. Mrazek will get better with experience. May as well get him some big game experience now and see what happens. Howard is a vet and what we see is what we get with him.

Smith i'd say is definitely the odd man out. Shame it won't be Ericsson. I also have a feeling Smith will be part of a Phaneuf trade in July -
