If Ottawa wins out, Boston wins one more, and the Pens only get one point, the Pens don't make it. We have 97 points and need 2 to clinch. Pens need 3 to clinch. (assuming Ottawa wins out, and Boston doesn't s*** the bed the rest of the way) -

Yup, because the team the Sens will be 1 point behind (assuming they win tonight) is a team slumping even worst than the Wings. Not worried one bit. In my eyes Boston losing is more important than the Sens losing. By a mile. -

I still think it is hilarious some have playoff doubts. IMO the only concern is getting the #3 seed. -
I don't think Abby is hurt that badly. If he was gonna be out a while we'd have heard something by now.

The best possible scenario of life is if they were to miss the playoffs because of the Sens, and also by some miracle win the draft lottery after trading away their first round pick.

Opinion: Petr Mrazek should be starting Game 1

The difference between mrazek's inconsistency and Howard's is that Howard is a vet. What you see is what you get with Howard. The sky is the limit for Mrazek. Yeah, he is 23. That's what's so excitin. He is only gonna keep getting better. The way he bounces back after a bad start speaks volumes about the kid. -
No. He needs to steal the jib and leave no doubt first. When we have a season with two clear number ones, our Mrazek just absolutely clearly and consistently becoming the better goalie, then move Howard. Sending Mrazek down to learn to be consistent is also a backwards option. He is dominant at the ahl leve. He can only learn at the the nhl level at this point. Hence why I think he should start in the playoffs if he finishes the season strong. For that experience.

Mrazek got us there. We get no points without him. And guess what? No shootouts in the playoffs.
