Nobody did. He/she seems to be assuming that we're calling Tampa a dynasty just by saying Stevie Y has been doing a great job with the team. Because a GM can only be doing a good job if they are winning cups, obviously. -

You realize there are 29 other teams in the league, right? An up and coming team doesn't have to win a cup to be a great up and coming team. That is what an up and coming team is. A team that is well on their way to becoming a perennial contender. -

Tampa just has so much depth, it is scary. They scored 7 goals last night and Stamkos didn't get either one of them. It is impressive. No GM makes 100% great moves. But Stevie has made a lot more good than bad. Bishop being a shinning example IMO. -

No doubt about that. A winning team needs the fight blend of homegrown talent, trades and UFA's. When it comes to UFA's, a solid foundation with upside needs to be there to make it an attractive destination. Wings are getting closer to that. Sure games like this are frustrating, but for the most part there has been a whole lot of promise. Combine the talent in the system we have now, and a new arena on the way, this will be a place people wanna come to play again. -

Not sure where you get the impression that I think the Wings haven't done a good job as well. It is possible to give another franchise credit. Giving one GM credit does not mean I am hating on another. My only point is that something special is being built in Tampa, while some have their noses too high in the air because they haven't won anything since Stevie Y took over as GM. -

Not having their #1 goalie in that series sure didn't help them much. The Bolts have a scary amount of depth, and are building a team that will be great for a lot of years. It is a team that has as much, if not more, talent in their system as the Wings do, with the exception that their stars are still very young. Winning doesn't happen over night, and Stevie Y has done a lot of a job with that team. They will become the class of the East sooner rather than later. -

In a thread full of predicted losses I'd have never thought you'd be the one predicting a win Gonna have to dig deep, but I think they could pull it off. Howie needs to have a strong game. Having Quincey back will be huge. Cleary with the game winner just to make LGW explode. -

To be fair he has played great the last couple games and has earned his place on the 3rd line. Cleary playing at this level is a Cleary that makes this team better. It's nothing to complain about really. I'm happy to see he is healthy and skating well again. -
Great news! Also seems Weiss is feeling better and he expects to be good to go by Friday.

Just a sore groin, guys. These things tend to happen when you don't play for a long time. Remember when Helm finally came back and he went out with a sore groin almost instantly? Nothing to worry about as far as I'm concerned. This is basically the reason why he was sent to GR to begin with. -
I love how we have been to a couple parties at the same time, and even had chats and had no idea we were both members on here until now haha Now this brings back some classic memories. But hey, it all tastes the same when you're already hammered
