Leaving him in the AHL too long won't do him any good either. He won a championship, and spent an additional season down there. He isn't gonna get any better playing in the AHL at this point. He needs to play at the next level. Even if it is 20-25 starts.

Same here Nothing against Gus, he was good for us when he played. But he is injured all the time. It is also time for Mrazek to be on the roster next season. He has nothing left to prove in the AHL.

Toronto needs to have 2 teams stumble, on top of getting their own act together. Their goalies are burnt out.

That is also 2 teams playing a best of 7 against each other. A hell of a lot different than 2 teams playing their own schedules fighting for every point they can. Especially when one team only has 6 games left compared to the other teams 8. Like I said. Nobody is saying the Leafs CAN'T make the playoffs. But the fact that they have to gain 3 points on the Wings in 6 games when the Wings have 8 to play, it just isn't likely. We get it. s*** happens. Doesn't mean we can't laugh at their chances. The Caps are the team to worry about. Even if Detroit gets just 1 point tomorrow, that would be 2 regulation wins more they'd have to get than Detroit in 2 less games. Also kee in mind they need 2 of the teams ahead of them to s*** the bed to make it. Not just one. Comparing their situation to the Wings in the 2002 playoffs would only work if the rest of the Leafs and Wings games were against each other.

All we're doing is laughing at the Leafs. I personally think the Wings will make the playoffs, but by no means do I think it is anywhere close to a done deal.

They need to gain 3 points on us in in their 6 games compared to our 8. Nobody is celebrating yet, but at this point Washington is the team to worry about staying ahead of. No doubt the Wings can't lay off the gas. They still have to win games.

Dude, nobody is saying their chances are over. We're saying it is highly unlikely.

A win tomorrow puts our chances over 70%.
