Bet he doesn't come close to leading the team in game winning goals if you factor out go ahead goals and just leave goals he scored to pad an already existing lead because of zero pressure on the team and then have them sit back to allow their opponents to get back into the game, causing his goal to just happen to end up being the winner.. ^i apologize if that happens to make zero sense. I'm half in the bag.

I was over Franzen once the Wings got eliminated by the Blackhawks and he was all smiles in the handshake line. A player who gives a s*** would NEVER be in a smiling mood right after losing a game 7. Been wanting to see his ass bought out ever since.

Yeah they had to curl up the tip of the wing a little as well to make it fit. The only time I find the C or A on the other side looks off is when we're in the finals and they have the crest right next to it. But at that point i'll take it

Meh, great goalies have their bad moments all the time. What sets the good apart from the bad is how they rebound from it. Howie won't let that get to him. On the flip side, I've seen Price meltdown on more than one occasion after allowing a goal he should have stopped.

They definitely haven't, and I myself can't wait until they do. But at this point in time it is gonna take injuries to get them together. I\d also imagine players will start getting moved sooner or later. At the end of the season the best lineup will be played. And if they beat out other guys, they will be in the lineup. They'll definitely get their chance to show they belong.

He is also a big body who will have an easier time adjusting to playing in the NHL. IT is not so easy for smaller players like Tatar and Gus. Take out the likes of Bertuzzi and Cleary and swap them with the kids, and the Wings become a much smaller and weaker team with no balance. Gus and Tatar will earn their spots when they learn how to play big. It will happen over time, not over night.

Please enlighten me. How can they get Gus into the lineup right now? Bert and Cleary have their place on this team. Especially Cleary. Get used to the likes of Tatar getting 4th line minutes. Minutes have to be earned, not given out because people on an internet forum demand it. Gus and Tatar both had chances to show they can be impact players. They have been solid, but it will take time before they become the players everyone seems to think they already are at the NHL level. In the end, it's a long season. It's gonna take a dozen games or so for each team to begin to show the kind of team they will be the rest of the season. Nothing to worry about at this point.

Nyquist will get his chance. It's 4 games into the season. People need to be more patient. Do I think he should be with the big club? Yes. And he will be when there is room for him. Like I said. It's 4 whole games into the season. He, along with Tatar, will get their permanent spots in the lineup when they earn them. They will see time in the bottom 6 before they ever work their way up to the top 6. They won't be handed out based on what they did in the AHL. I'm convinced that come playoff time we will see Tatar-Helm-Gus. I do see them earning a spot in the lineup by that time. Just be patient and they will get there. The team has a lot of competition up front. It will prove to be a good problem to have, even though most can't see that right now.
