Like I said in another thread, he was smiling in the handshake line. That is NOT what I wanna see from a player who is on the losing side of an OT game 7. It screams "I don't care" IMO. If I were Holland, I'd make an attempt at moving him. There will be some team needing to hit the cap floor. Let him have his fun soaking up the sun in Florida for all I care.

My biggest issue came in tonight's handshake line. Franzen was smiling. Maybe I am looking too much into things, but after a game 7 loss in OT, iis a player who is gonna smile at the end the kind of player we wanna see on this team? That to me screams "I don't care"

I happened to shave the morning of the game thy played the Kings last week. And with how they've been playing since, I decided to let er go from there. Will post my 5 days of scruff when I'm not so lazy! This and photoshop wars are the two things I get excited for most besides the games themselves!! The misses hates my scruff already. I think it will be fine. If it keeps flaring up, they'll probably eventually go for surgery. it is just a matter of finding out the cause, from what i've read. He pushes it, and has a setback. I think when he does get back into the lineup he will be fine. He is young, afterall. If he was in his 30's id be more concerned.

Bob Cole got it wrong. It's Riverhead-Harbour Grace. Carbonear is a completely separate town. But Cole is too old and senile. He did refer to one of the teams as Edmonton last night, after all.

No way the Pens beat the Bruins IMO. The pens havent faced a playoff calibre team yet these playoffs. They played 2 young, inexperienced teams. I dont think they have a chance in hell in a 7 game series vs the Bruins.

Tatar has been a beast in the Griffins run thus far.

He is always been a real solid dman, injuries have always been his only problem. Always had the potential to fit in nicely in a 2nd pairing. Really hoping he can stay healthy, would be great for him and us.

Even Don Cherry is giving Detroit lots of praise tonight.

Cleary hasn't been perfect, but his positives outweigh his negatives in this post season. He isn't costing us games, and he has a presence in front of the net that has led to quite a few goals this post season run. With him and Franzen on each of the two first lines, We have guys to get in front of the net to make the goalies life difficult. Swap him out with a skill guy and production of that line goes down.

This pretty much sums it up. The only Blackhawk I dislike is Kane. Other than that I respect the hell out of their team and can't bring myself to hate them like a lot of Wings fans do. But their fans are a completely different story. Good lord. What really isn't sitting well with me is how the commentators are giving the Wings no time of day. NBC, CBC, national broadcasts! During the game, talking as if the Wings already lost this series. It is so unprofessional and it is making me sick. Isn't it their job to make it seem a series could go either way to keep the casual viewer invested? I had to watch the game on mute because I couldn't stomach the crap coming out of Bob Cole's mouth the entire game. The way I see it, if they are so sure of the outcome of the series, they just as well start telling viewers to tune out because there is no point watching.

Tatar is tearing it up right now, too bad they won't give him a call up.

I think that games 1 and 2 are both must win games. Gotta jump on the fact Chicago hasn't played in a week. Once they get their legs back, they'll be a lot more difficult to beat with their depth.
