extra day of rest would be nice. but it would be a good opportunity to get a jump on the hawks, as they havent played all that great in round 1, and coming off an intense 7 game series, the first couple games IMO would be advantage us. they'l have been off for a few days, and would take a couple games to get back into beast mode. we've seen it time and time again in the past.

From what ive read earlier, chicago is starting tuesday night regardless. the teams who would have to play game 7 monday would just start their round 2 wednesday

Not trying to be an ass or anything, but maybe start blogging this stuff?

No matter what happens, I'm proud of this team. With all the changes, all the kids, and the short season with next to no training camp and no pre season. The way they responded when in a situation where they had to win out the last 4 games of the season just to make the playoffs. Having the kids learn playoff intensity on the fly and make this a hell of a series that WILL go to game 7. Love the direction this Wings squad is going, and even if no moves are made, this team will be even better next year. When most teams rebuild, they dwell in the basement for a few seasons. When the Wings rebuild, we give the #2 seed all they can handle in the playoffs. And when we force game 7, anything can happen! BELIEVE

Don't worry people, we're going to game 7. Hopefully Sammy comes out for Abby so Bert stays in. Bert has been good. Protect home ice and steal one in cali on Sunday. BELEIEVE

Watching the handshake line you could see Luongo cracking a smile here and there, and definitely looking like he was trying to hide it. I honestly do believe he is glad this is over.

Sammy has looked good. Bert has looked good in his second game. Eaves was a monster last night. Clearly has been a warrior all series and demoting him wouldn't be a good thing to do. Brunner is effective with limited ice time because at this stage of his career, against a big strong team like Anaheim, being on the ice a lot benefits the ducks IMO. Babcock picking his spots to play Brunner paid off last night big time.

It is good that it was an it win. Dominating the scoreboard would wake them up for next game. Remember game 4 vs sj in 2010. Killed em. They played with something to prove in game 5 and beat us. The very next year, game 4. One goal win. And we rode that and took it to 7. Ot win is a good thing.
