exactly. their acheilies heel in the past has been coasting to end the season and taking an entire round to snap back into kick ass mode. this is the most confidence ive had in a wings team since 2009. they are younger, which means hungrier. i think in the past few seasons they depended too much on skill and their defense took a hit, even with lidstrom. they have to work a lot harder now, but i feel like it will pay off. when it will pay off remains to be seen, but it is an exciting time.

Probably the best thing for them in the long run. They faced their adversity, and if they clinched a few games ago, they wold NOT be playing this way with the playoffs so close. Nothing like fighting for your playoff lives to light a fire under thy ass

oh i know it isnt set in stone yet, but there has been a lot of doom and gloom here all year, when this team has a pretty bright future

Imagine the wave of momentum this team can ride if they were to upset the Blackhawks in the first round. A team playing with heart fighting for their playoff lives vs a team who hasnt faced adversity this season and clinched the playoffs 136 years ago. Call me crazy, but if we draw Chicago, the pressure is on them. Especially if we can get a split the first 2 games. BELIEVE

I figure Sammy only gets in if they have a brutal game at this point. As excited as I am to see beet back, who the hell sits after tonights game? I'd imagine tootoo. But even he has been amazing tonight and as we've seen with wings vs preds in the playoffs he can be a factor.

If we win tomorrow, even if Columbus loses in it or s***out we're good. Very excite
